When water, pests or storm damage will not wait, the part you should not have to worry about is whether anyone picks up. Here is what this service commits to, and — just as plainly — what it does not.
The phone is answered around the clock
The line on this site is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year, holidays included. Damage does not keep business hours and neither does the phone.
The connection costs you nothing
This service is free to the homeowner. You are never invoiced by this site — the only money that changes hands is between you and the contractor you hire.
A credentialled contractor who works locally
Every contractor on the other end of this line is independent, holds what Iowa requires for this work — which in some trades is a licence and in others a registration — and serves Cedar Rapids and the towns around it. Ask to see it, and the insurance certificate with it.
A poor fit is fixed by one more call
Should the match go wrong, one more call puts you in touch with a different contractor. No fee, no form, no explanation needed beyond “that one did not work out”.
The part this service cannot promise
None of the above is a warranty on anyone’s workmanship. The contractors are independent businesses, not employees of this site, and the work you agree with one of them is a contract between you and that contractor — its quality, its price, its schedule and its guarantee are theirs to give and yours to hold them to.
